Carnival has been one of my passion since I was in a stroller following the bands with my mother on the French island of Guadeloupe. Each Caribbean island celebrate carnival in a different way and I am grateful to have been exposed to many culture throughout the years in my quest to experience all the carnival around the world.
From Miami, to Toronto, Guadeloupe, Trinidad and many more, carnival goes beyond the feathers and sequins. It is a culture and a celebration that embodies the soul and believes of a country, of a population, of communities and individuals.
After years of documenting my carnival trips, I decided to unite everything under one roof. So welcome to carnival addict.
Our first stop is Jamaica Bachannal 2016. It will take place on April 3rd and I will be going with Allana (from Trinidad), Kelly (from Dominican Republic), and Rhonda (from Canada). Of course I will meet many more during the parties and the actual road march.
